Cornie sê die landbou is ongetwyfeld die ruggraat van die ekonomie. “Ons is die grootste werkgewer. Wat met die landbou gebeur het direk te doen met die voorspoed van elke dorp. Betrokkenheid van elke boer en besigheidseienaar is die sleutel. Daarom moet ons nou hande vat. Ons moet kyk hoe ons kan saam werk met elke munisiplaiteit, die provinsie, besigheidleiers en met die gemeenskappe.“

Southern Cape Business News – On Friday 19 May, a number of AHi (Afrikaanse Handelsinstituut) affiliated business chambers from the Western Cape met in Heidelberg for their two monthly AHi regional meeting. Solly Fourie, chief director, and other representatives from Dedat (Department of Economic Development and Tourism) Western Cape, and Paul Hoffman from Scep (Southern Cape Economic Partnership), were also in attendance.
